Today was our first full day in Mississippi. After a morning of preparation and gathering supplies, we began our work at two different sites. The first was a demolition job where part of the group cleared an area of land that would be used to build a new house. At the second site, the rest of the group began to lay flooring in two of the three bedrooms for a family. Depsite the heat and humidity, both groups managed to accomplish a great deal of work and progress. The demo group cleared much of the land and planned to be finished tomorrow afternoon. The flooring group finished laying the flooring in one and a half bedrooms and plan to be finished with the last of the rooms tomorrow as well. Dinner was successful and everybody is happy and healthy.
